1. What we provide
Listbookmarking is an online business directory. We publish business listings submitted by their owners and representatives, and we publish articles about getting a business found online.
We are a publishing platform, not a party to any transaction between you and a business listed here.
2. Using the site
You may browse the directory and read the articles freely. You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download listing data
- Use automated tools to submit listings
- Submit false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Submit content you don’t have the right to publish
- Attempt to interfere with the site’s operation or security
- Use the site for spam, phishing, or any unlawful purpose
We may suspend or block access if you do any of these.
3. Submitting a listing
Your responsibility. You are responsible for everything you submit. By submitting a listing you confirm that you own the business or are authorised to represent it, that the information is accurate, and that you have the right to use any images you upload.
Our review. We review submissions before publishing. We may reject a submission, ask for changes, or remove a published listing at any time and at our discretion. Reasons include inaccurate information, businesses we cannot verify, content that breaches these terms, or categories we’ve chosen not to carry.
Licence you grant us. By submitting a listing you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, reproduce and adapt that content on the site and in connection with promoting the site. You keep ownership of your content. This licence ends when the listing is removed, except for copies retained in backups or search engine caches beyond our control.
Links. All outbound links in listings carry the sponsored nofollow attribute. Submitting a listing for the purpose of manipulating search rankings is a misuse of the service, and we remove listings submitted for that reason without refund.
Keeping it current. You’re responsible for telling us when your details change or your business closes. Contact us and we’ll update or remove the listing.
4. Payment and refunds
Pricing. Listing fees are shown at the point of purchase. Prices may change, but a change never affects a listing you’ve already paid for.
Processing. Payments are handled by PayPal. We do not receive or store your card details.
What a paid listing includes. Publication of your listing on the site for as long as the site operates and the listing remains compliant with these terms. A paid listing does not include any guarantee of traffic, enquiries, search ranking, or business results.
Refunds. If we reject your submission, we refund you in full. If you request a refund within 14 days of purchase and before your listing has been published, we refund you in full. After a listing is published, fees are non-refundable, except where required by the consumer law that applies to you.
If we remove your listing for breaching these terms, no refund is due.
If the site closes. If we permanently discontinue the directory, we will give reasonable notice. We are not obliged to provide refunds for listings that have already been published and served their purpose, but we will act reasonably and in good faith.
5. Content in the directory is not our recommendation
Listings are submitted by the businesses themselves. We verify what we reasonably can, but we do not audit, inspect, endorse, or vouch for any listed business.
A listing is not a recommendation. Do your own checks before engaging any business you find here — licensing, insurance, references, whatever is appropriate. Any dealings you have with a listed business are entirely between you and them.
6. Articles are general information
The articles on this site are general guidance. They are not professional, legal, financial, or marketing advice tailored to your situation.
Search platforms change their systems frequently. Something accurate when written may be outdated when you read it. Verify anything important against the platform’s own current documentation before acting on it.
7. Advertising
We display third-party advertising. We do not control which specific ads appear and do not endorse advertised products or services. Any dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.
8. Intellectual property
The articles, design, and original content on this site belong to us. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish articles in full without written permission.
Business names, logos, and trademarks appearing in listings belong to their respective owners.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, technical problems, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business
- Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid listing is limited to the amount you paid for that listing
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Indemnity
If we face a claim because of content you submitted or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date will change and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY], and disputes will be handled by the courts of [YOUR COUNTRY], unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
