JP Morgan has become the first bank to open its operations in the cryptocurrency-powered metaverse. The US lender has formally announced its entry as a crypto-friendly bank by opening a branch of its bank in the virtual world of Decentraland, a blockchain-based virtual world. You can now navigate to the bank’s virtual lounge in Decentraland, and buy virtual plots with NFTs or cryptocurrencies.
