Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country's first underwater metro in Kolkata today. Kolkata's underwater metro has been constructed under the Hooghly River. The underwater metro will run 32 kilometers below the bottom of the Hooghly river. This metro will connect Howrah to Kolkata city. After this, PM Modi will also address a public meeting in Barasat in North 24 Parganas district. Apart from this, he will also visit Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan.
