Difference between PTE and TOEFL is
IELTS: International English language testing system. IELTS was launched in 1989 in order to test and certify the language proficiency of the non native English speakers. IELTS is jointly owned and conducted by British Council, Cambridge language assessment, and IDP Australia.
PTE: Pearson test of English. this test was launched in 2009 by Pearson and therefore is one of the recent tests among those which test and certify the language proficiency of non native English speakers.
