Kolkata. A major train accident took place in Darjeeling, West Bengal on Monday morning. A freight train hit the Kanchenjunga Express train from behind while it was standing near Rangapani station. The collision was so severe that 3 coaches of the Kanchenjunga Express derailed. Many people are reported to have been injured in the accident. Disaster teams have reached the spot for rescue operations.
