Lalbagh is one of the oldest botanical gardens in India. It is located in South Bengaluru, and is a favourite of joggers and walkers and kids too. It is also a major tourist attraction in the city.
Lalbagh Botanical Garden is not only one of the largest botanical gardens in India, but also the first of its kind, with planned routes, glasshouses and various kinds of flowers and fruits growing throughout the property.Lalbagh’s construction was commissioned by the famous ruler Hyder Ali – the ruler of Mysore between 1761-1782.
