Halong, which translates to “Descending Dragon”, has around 1600 to 2500 islands. You will have to travel 30 miles to reach the core islands from the nearest port. The dashing curves and the sudden drops will entice you. The rocky islets of Surprising Cave, Chopstick Island and Hon Ga Choi are breathtaking. In between kayaking feast on delicious seafood and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
