Umrah is one of the holy virtue which is performed with full of spiritual, physical and financial dedications. Here remains a confusion whether Umrah is Faradh or Sunnah. So the answer is that it is not among the obligatory activities. Faradh are those which are compulsory to perform. But Sunnah are those activities which are performed by holy prophet but not ordered from Allah Almighty. So to perform Sunnah is virtue but if someone don’t perform Sunnah he don’t have to repent upon that. Hajj and Umrah have many rituals in common but they should be count in two different virtue.
