Hi there t-shirt lover! If you are into t-shirts just as much as we are, you know that no number of t-shirts is ever way too many t-shirts. When you own a lot of t-shirts, your wardrobe always seems to be tiny. If you are one of those people who cannot find enough space to store all of your t-shirts, you have found yourself in the right place! We are here to tell you how to fold t-shirts right and once you learn our technique, you'll find that your wardrobe isn't tiny after all!
The Folding Technique
The easiest and most efficient technique to fold a t-shirt is the KonMari way. The KonMari method was invented by Marie Kondo, the expert Japanese organizer. Here you will find an easy three-step summary of the KonMari method with which you'll be able to fold all of your t-shirts to perfection.
Before we begin, get your t-shirt out and lay it out on a flat surface. Now, we are good to go!
Step I
Fold one side of the t-shirt across the center and then fold the sleeve back. Then, repeat the same process with the other side.
Step II
Fold the t-shirt over from top to bottom in half, leaving a little gap at the bottom. Then fold it over again.
Step III
Check if you did it the right way. Now, if you have folded your t-shirt the right way, you will be able to make it stand on its side vertically. Retry the technique if your t-shirt doesn't stand. Once you practice a couple of times, things will begin to flow!
Organize, Organize, Organize
How do you organize your t-shirts? Most people just fold their t-shirts and stack them up one on top of the other. This method can get messy because as you pull t-shirts out from the middle of the stack, the stack itself collapses after a couple of days. You could also hang your t-shirts up, but that would take up way too much space.
Believe us when we tell you that the best way to organize your t-shirts is to stack them horizontally. "How?" you might ask. Here's how you should be doing it.
Drawers are the best place to arrange t-shirts. Use the folding method that we talked about earlier to make your t-shirts stand vertically but stack them horizontally. Once you get your folding right, arrange your t-shirts in horizontal stacks across the drawer.
Why is this better? Organizing your t-shirts this way helps you pull out t-shirts from the middle of the stack while not disturbing any of the other t-shirts. This way, your drawer remains neat and organized no matter how many days go by.
Now that we have learned how to fold and organize online custom t-shirts the right way, go ahead and buy as many t-shirts as you wish. You don't have to worry about not being able to fit in all of your t-shirts anymore! Happy Stacking!
